The Body Shop - 'drop of youth' face serum

Drop of youth Is a face serum designed to optimise the result of your daily skincare regime, as well as having anti ageing proprieties in it. It contains criste-marine plant stem cells and beech bud extract, which are known to help enhance the skins surface and renewal. It claims to even skin tone and smooth out the skin leaving it healthier looking.

This serums ingredients are 99% from natural origins. While 20% are from organic farming. There are no parabens and no silicone so this product is very clean.

It comes with a pipettes style dispenser which allows for a no mess application as well as precision and control when using, so product does not get wasted.

Application:

You need no more than 2/3 drops for your whole face, you apply it after cleansing and before moisturising for optimal results. There is no need to wait around for this to sink in as it dries fast, you can then apply your moisturizer/sunscreen (if day time) of choice straight after. Its a light weight serum that doesn't leave your face feeling or looking greasy so ideal for those with oily and dry skin.

I found after using this serum for a few weeks my skin looked plumper, my acne scaring was visibly reduce and the over all appearance of my skin just looked nice, healthier and glowing. For £22 this serum really is worth it. It lasts a long time as you use hardly any product and it can be used morning and/or night so really is versatile for someone who has extensive skin care regime already.
